Sam Collier
Founder & Creative Lead
Sam spent 14 years creating in-house marketing for global brands and small enterprises prior to launching What’s Next back in 2022. She knows how to get under the skin of a business and a brand, quickly understanding everything from the tone of voice and target audience to processes and technology. She’s worked on award-winning B2C brand campaigns and led highly successful B2B campaigns.
Alongside running What’s Next, Sam is also a fractional CMO for Talent Insight Group, and plays an active role on the Senior Leadership Team.
Outside of her work life you’ll find Sam searching for waves and ticking off the Lake District’s Wainwright summits. A keen surfer, she also contributes to the community through volunteering for The Wave Project and her local surf club, True North Surf C.I.C.
Cat McGinty
Digital Lead
Cat has spent two decades working where people, processes and technology projects intersect. She spent 8 years in agency leadership teams, where she helped formalise and codify team values, company culture and translate these to day to day working practices. She combines skills from marketing, digital products, and agency leadership. Her superpower is demystifying highly technical projects.
Cat helps business owners and small teams achieve their marketing and digital goals faster. From support to work through a strategy from scratch, to help with the tools and projects to make it come to life.
When she’s out of the office, Cat can be found in the great outdoors, hiking, trail running, casually completing an ultra or two and occasionally hitting the surf.
Glen Hall

Glen is serial entrepreneur, private investor, experienced NED, frustrated amateur physicist and author of the best-selling ‘The Last Druid Trilogy’.
He founded Talent Insight Group to give something back to its community whilst helping its clients win the war for talent. After working with What’s Next to propel Talent Insight Group to the next level, Glen saw an opportunity for a partnership and the next phase of What’s Next was born.
Prior to creating Talent Insight Group, Glen built the Write Research Group into the number one talent intelligence business in the UK before it was acquired by Capita Group in 2013.
He won the Entrepreneur Forums’ Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 and has previously been awarded the Ernst & Young/Coutts Emerging Entrepreneur and then the British Chambers of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year.
