Finding focus

The secret to finding your focus when you hit the wall on productivity and 75 ways to refresh your call to action phrases.

Time for a little honesty. These last couple of weeks have been a struggle. I’ve tried every trick I know and still my brain has resisted focus at every opportunity. This meant that tasks that would normally take a couple of hours have stretched out for what seemed like days. Today I seem to have turned a corner. What have I learned? Well, sometimes you just have to struggle through it. Do what you need to do, but no more.

Outside of the day job I began volunteering with surf charity The Wave Project, helping young people who are struggling with their mental health and well-being to experience the benefits of surfing. In a mix of cold water therapy, social interaction and a new challenge these kids are able to live in the moment and be themselves. A great lesson for us all.
